Yes! That is a pile of delicious, fatty, velvety pork belly. Pork belly has become the latest trending fad over the last few years. Don’t get me wrong, with as much as I sneer at fads, this is one that I would be glad to put in my mouth any day.
I took this photo at an Asian food market in Houston. I couldn’t help but stand in awe as drool trickled from the corner of my mouth. I have never seen so much pork belly at once in my entire life. I was in “hog heaven”!
